The handcrafted Soloflight is a true hollow body built for comfort and speed. Soloflight delivers a combination of airy, classic hollow body tones and rich, earthy solid body tones due to the wood mass of the sculpted hood scoop design. The top is joined to the body under the bridge and under the neck. The top is solid one-piece construction and then sculpted with a perfected 3 degree "hood scoop" and radiused for comfort, playability and incredible natural sustain. It's unique handmade tailpiece design was inspired by the 1937 DeSoto grille. Crafted from aircraft aluminum, it can be accented with a variety of exotic woods. Soloflight features a five-piece, 24.75" scale neck with your choice of fretboard. A myriad of custom options are available such as exotic woods, custom inlays, binding, graphics, custom finishes, hardware, electronics and more. Soloflight can be sweet and soulful, or a raging rock machine.
